Johnstown, Colorado

Why We Love Johnstown

Located just west of where the Big Thompson River and Little Thompson River meet, Johnstown is a rapidly growing city and a wonderful place to call home. With the addition of several new construction neighborhoods and a growing downtown, Johnstown is quickly becoming the city of choice for many homebuyers in Northern Colorado.

The town of Johnstown started with the vision of Harvey J. Parish before it’s platting in 1902. The town was officially incorporated in 1907 and named after Parish’s son, John. The town has grown from a humble population of 3,827 in the early 2000s to 18,474 in 2021 and continues to grow.

Some of Johnstown’s best attractions include the Mad Russian golf course, the Johnstown straw maze, and their historic downtown. The city is also conveniently located just a few minutes off of I-25, making a quick trip to nearby Loveland, Fort Collins, Berthoud, or Windsor a breeze.
