Timnath, Colorado
Why We Love Timnath
Very recently, Timnath was only the size of a small subdivision with a humble population of 230. However, the town of Timnath has grown significantly in the last few years and is projected to grow by 27 square miles and 20,000 residents in the next 20 years.
Originally established as a fur trading hub and agricultural community in 1882, settlers were attracted to the area due to its proximity to the Cache la Poudre river and fertile lands. Now, residents from all over Northern Colorado and beyond are migrating to Timnath for its proximity to larger cities, like Fort Collins, Windsor, Loveland, and Greeley, and its family-oriented community. Despite Timnath's recent growth, they've worked hard to preserve the community and create a town that feels like an escape from the hustle and bustle.
Nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains, you can experience a little bit of everything Colorado has to offer in Timnath. My favorite Timnath highlights are the thriving economy, abundant recreation, unique parks, and wide open spaces!
